Salam: Reconstruction needs exceed the capabilities of the Lebanese state
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said during a visit to in southern Lebanon that the scale of needs resulting from the latest war between Hezbollah and Israel exceeds the capabilities of the Lebanese state and requires major funding. He announced the launch of 23 tenders in the Nabatieh district, including removing obstacles, repairing roads, rehabilitating shelter centers, and providing ambulances and medical equipment, stressing efforts to mobilize support for a full Israeli withdrawal and state rebuilding.
