Security, Reform and Development... Heavy Files on Aoun's Table

Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun reaffirmed during a series of meetings at Baabda Palace that supporting the steadfastness of southerners and their hold on their land remains a state priority, stressing attention to the needs of displaced people, amid ongoing Israeli attacks on southern villages. Aoun discussed with several current and former MPs and local officials security, economic, reform and development files, including diplomatic tracks toward an Israeli army withdrawal from Lebanese territory and restricting arms to the state, the electricity file, the Akkar coastal highway project, damage in the town of Jarjouh, and the educational situation in border villages.
