Qatar Airways announced the temporary suspension of its flights to Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia amid the security developments in the kingdom, without setting a date for resuming flights, and urged travellers to check their flight status on its website or app. The decision came after in Riyadh was closed following an attack on Saturday that killed 13 people and injured more than 300, described as one of the deadliest attacks in the kingdom in more than 10 years. The Saudi-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen said late Monday it intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired by the towards Riyadh, while U.S. President Donald Trump said he had spoken with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman about the war with the Houthis.
