Social Affairs Minister Visits Syria: Displacement File and Significant Numbers

Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs Hanin al-Sayyed made a two-day visit to Damascus, during which she discussed with the Syrian minister the Syrian displacement file, exchange of expertise, and child protection. Data indicated that about 700,000 Syrian displaced persons have left Lebanese territory since the fall of the Assad regime until today, with figures likely to rise in the coming months.
