State and resistance in one speech... Fadlallah sets the priorities
Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, stressed during a ceremony held by Hezbollah's Second Jabal Amel region to honor the "martyrs of the Uli al-Baas battle" in the southern town of Dweir that strengthening the state's presence in the south cannot be achieved through slogans alone, but requires practical implementation starting with protecting sovereignty, halting Israeli attacks, supporting the army and launching development and reconstruction projects. He affirmed that "the resistance is a national necessity" that cannot be abandoned, noting a World Bank loan of $250 million, a large part of which is allocated to the south, and warning that its deadlines could expire, while calling on the government to allocate a "respectable" sum for the south in the budget. He also criticized the negotiation path, saying it had cost Lebanon and the south high political and field-related prices.
