Suspect arrested over theft and vandalism of shrines in Batroun

The Batroun Gendarmerie unit, in coordination with the State Security office in Batroun, arrested a suspect in a series of thefts and acts of vandalism targeting several shrines, following investigations and surveillance. A large sum of money was seized in his possession, and during interrogation he confessed to stealing from the shrines; he was detained on the instruction of the competent judiciary and referred to it in accordance with established procedures.
