"Targeting Saudi Arabia Affects Egypt"… Sisi Draws National Security Lines
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi stressed that the security of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states is directly linked to Egypt's national security, affirming that Cairo will not accept any infringement on the Kingdom's security or borders, or on the security of the Red Sea and international waterways. He considered that Egypt and Saudi Arabia are "the heart of the two Arab and Islamic nations," pointing to risks on Egypt's southern and western borders, and the importance of stability in Sudan, Libya and Gaza. He also affirmed that he stressed to Netanyahu that establishing a Palestinian state serves the interests of all parties.
