The Druze Spiritual Leadership: Offending Beliefs Is Not Permitted
The media office of the Spiritual Leadership of the Unitarian Druze community issued a statement denouncing a scene broadcast by a Lebanese television channel that showed young people's ignorance of the Druze faith, describing it as mockery and belittlement that does not fall under freedom of opinion and expression. The statement noted that the Lebanese constitution affirms respect for religions and protects the dignity of believers, and called for an end to such offenses so they do not ignite strife.
