"The Golden Era Repeats"... Traboulsi Bets on Badran

Lebanese MP Edgard Traboulsi declared his support for the decision to renew the term of Lebanese University President Professor Bassam Badran for a second term, saying in a post on X that giving a successful president an additional term is a fundamental reason for the university's revival. He cited previous presidents who served more than one term, such as Fouad Efram Bustani, Edmon Naim and Georges Tomeh, following the Cabinet's decision to extend Badran's term, a step that sparked debate over continuity versus choosing a new name.
