They Finished Grading but Dues Remain... Teachers Await Their Rights

The Association of Secondary Education Teachers in Lebanon announced that 13 teachers from Nabatieh did not receive their full dues for grading mathematics exams for the official 2025 general secondary certificate examinations, due to an error in calculating the receipt tables that led to lower amounts being paid. The association explained that the coordinator of the mathematics committee, Sanaa Chahib, withdrew the erroneous tables, corrected them and returned them to the accounting department, but the error was not addressed and the teachers were told the differences were written off with the end of the fiscal year. The teachers are also awaiting their dues for grading the entrance exam to the Faculty of Business Administration at the Lebanese University for 2025.
