Trump grants Netanyahu his endorsement ahead of Israeli elections
US President Donald Trump on Sunday gave his full endorsement to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the legislative elections set for October 27. Netanyahu thanked him and vowed continued joint work to eliminate the "Iranian threat". The endorsement comes amid fierce competition with Gadi Eisenkot, who stressed that only Israelis choose their leaders, while polls show neither camp holds the 61 seats needed to form a government.
