UNIFIL site targeted with light weapons in southern Lebanon
The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon () announced that one of its sites near the town of Kfar Shuba on the Blue Line in the eastern sector was hit by small-arms fire, causing material damage to the outer wall, residential units and vehicles, with no injuries. UNIFIL condemned the attack as deliberate and unacceptable and opened an investigation. This comes as UNIFIL's mandate is set to end on December 31, 2026, and Israel continues to occupy areas in southern Lebanon.
