VAT deadline approaches... Finance Ministry warns of penalties

Lebanon's Ministry of Finance announced that the legal deadline for submitting VAT declarations for the third quarter of 2026 and paying the amounts due begins on September 30 and ends on October 31. It reminded registered taxpayers to prepare their periodic declarations and complete their tax obligations within the deadline, warning of penalties for late filing or payment, and stressing that it will not issue a decision granting exceptional exemptions from those penalties and will take legal measures against those who fail to comply.
