Lebanese MP George Okais called on the government to issue an arrest warrant against Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem and all the party's military leaders, considering that the entry and carrying of prohibited explosives without government decisions is a criminal offense, and that Hezbollah has been involved in assassinations since 2008. Speaking via MTV, he said the Lebanese Army, composed of 80,000 soldiers, is not incapable, and that the explosives have cornered the military and political leaderships, noting that Lebanon is economically besieged by its allies who fear the party will benefit from support.
