Video Shakes Haret Hreik… Municipality Denies Any Political Interference

The Haret Hreik municipality issued a clarification after a widely circulated video showed a street vendor objecting to the removal of his stall during a municipal police campaign. The municipality said the measure was taken by its own decision following repeated complaints, that the violation was on public property, and denied any partisan, political or regional interference. It added that a delegation of violators visited the municipality to settle their status through official channels.
