Wahhab: Al-Hazzaa personally smuggled Ali Kayali via an ambulance

The head of the Arab Tawhid Party, Wiam Wahhab, announced that Lebanese Army Intelligence arrested one of the suspects in the kidnapping of Ali Kayali (known as "Meraj Ural"), indicating that his information suggests a person named Al-Hazzaa personally smuggled him via an ambulance to Syria. A group had kidnapped Kayali from his home in Al-Mansourieh in the northern Metn at dawn on Thursday, October 15, before Syrian authorities announced his arrest while he was trying to flee across the border. AFP quoted a Lebanese security source as saying the operation was carried out inside Lebanese territory without the knowledge of the authorities, and that Kayali was taken to the Syrian embassy before being transferred to Syria.
