Washington Asked Israel to Launch an Independent Attack on Iran
Hebrew newspaper Maariv revealed that the United States asked Israel during talks over the past two weeks to carry out an independent attack on Iran, amid political calculations related to the US and Israeli elections. Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir explained that such an attack would likely postpone the elections in Israel, prompting the Americans to back down from the request. This comes as Bloomberg revealed that Iran has maintained its production capabilities for drones and ballistic missiles despite the bombardment, with reports that Russia is supplying Iran with missiles.
