Kurdish politicians from Syria and Iraq warned, according to the Hebrew newspaper Israel Hayom, that the "honeymoon" with Ahmed al-Sharaa's government is about to end, fearing that Damascus will not show interest in guaranteeing Kurdish rights and that the agreement between the two sides will collapse. They also pointed to incitement practiced in Syria's mosques every Friday and to Syrian fighters chanting slogans such as "We liberated Syria from Assad. In the future, we will liberate the Golan and Jerusalem."

In a separate development, Al Jazeera reported that Israeli occupation forces infiltrated with six military vehicles into the al-Ma'kar area in the southern Quneitra countryside in southern Syria.
