What has been achieved is not the result of a passing understanding, but the fruit of an integrated vision that Saddi struggled to establish and translate into executive steps, starting with importing gas, passing through building modern power plants, and reaching the adoption of sustainable solutions that end the patchwork logic, cut off the drains of waste and corruption, and restore the confidence of international partners in the state's ability to manage its resources with transparency and responsibility.

The agreement between Lebanon and Qatar cannot be separated from the long reform path undertaken by Minister of Energy and Water Joe Saddi with determination and firmness, through his intensive and continuous meetings with the Qatari side to enhance Qatari investments in the energy sector.
