Important warning: After many photos on social media drew my attention to prominent figures, some of whom I respect, being honored by the so-called "Eli Shawqi Saliba," who impersonates the title of head of the Lebanon Youth Movement and who recently held an honoring ceremony at the "Royal" Hotel in Dbayeh, and out of my concern that these figures not be deceived, I wanted to clarify to some that the aforementioned is wanted by the judiciary on charges of fraud and bounced checks, and he is a first-class con man who still succeeds in suppressing this kind of action under the cover of hollow honors. But with the so-called Saliba continuing to deceive these figures and evading justice, I wanted to state this matter and expose it to public opinion, warning against his persistence in this approach, noting that he has taken large sums from some of those he honored.
