Separation Line
A line separating the occupied Syrian Golan from the buffer zone, around which Israeli-Syrian tensions and violations occur.
The Separation Line is a demarcation line separating the occupied Syrian Golan from the buffer zone, linked to the 1974 disengagement agreement between Syria and Israel. UN forces are deployed around it to monitor the ceasefire. The area witnesses repeated violations and security tensions. Damascus demands an Israeli withdrawal and adherence to the agreement.
