What is happening goes beyond a military battle

A state that does not hear people's voice in institutions will hear it later in the street. But more dangerous than the protest itself is the loss of hope.

The choice before Lebanon is either to keep managing its crises with patchwork solutions or to move from crisis management to state-building. At this highly complex Lebanese moment, events cannot be approached from a single angle. Lebanon is living a crisis of state before a crisis of government, a crisis of trust before a financial crisis, and a crisis of sovereignty before a border crisis.

The unity of the community in all its components, cohesion, and avoiding manifestations of strife that serve Israel and the enemies.

When we call for reform, we ask for nothing more than the implementation of the Taif Agreement, which everyone demands be implemented.

Demanding rights is not a political act, and we must distinguish between the two.
