The General Assembly of the Financial Action Task Force meets three times a year, in February, June and October, while Lebanon's progress in implementing the action plan is subject to technical assessments preceding its meetings.

The main challenge facing Lebanon is not limited to passing laws and legislation, but lies in proving their effective implementation and achieving tangible results, especially at the judicial and supervisory levels.

Lebanon currently tends to remain on the grey list, ruling out that a move to the black list is an imminent danger, but warns in return of declining chances of a rapid exit from this list, due to the stagnation in implementing reforms and achieving the practical results required by the Financial Action Task Force.
