A work meeting on the water situation in Koura district, in the presence of MP Fadi Karam, Director General of the North Lebanon Water Establishment Khaled Obeid and several board members. I presented energy, water and sanitation affairs with a municipal delegation that included: the head of Al-Jdeideh - Al-Bouchrieh - Al-Sad municipality, August Bakhos; the head of Al-Fanar municipality, Michel Salameh; the head of Roumieh municipality, Hanna Zainoun; the head of Ain Saadeh municipality, Maurice Asmar; and the head of Al-Mansourieh municipality, Fouad El-Hajj.

I met the new board of directors of the National Litani River Authority, headed by Chairman-Director General Dr. Sami Alawiya, where I gave them directives on the necessity of enhancing transparency and good governance, exerting all efforts to serve citizens, and working to secure financial sustainability.
