The Israeli army carried out a series of strikes involving artillery shelling, detonations, gunfire and bulldozing in several areas of southern Lebanon, including the surroundings of Ibl al-Saqi, Mansouri, Majdal Zoun, Bani Hayyan and the al-Hujayr and al-Saluqi valleys, as well as an explosion in Beit Yahoun, shelling on the outskirts of Kounine and bulldozing in Zawtar al-Sharqiya. The developments coincided with near-daily similar operations in some towns despite a declared ceasefire.
The Turkish source emphasized the breadth of the strikes across six areas and linked them to Lebanese-Israeli military talks in Tampa, while one Lebanese source focused on a single incident involving a tank in Khiam, and the Gulf source highlighted explosions and bulldozing in specific towns and noted the declared ceasefire.
