Two US fighter squadrons arrive at Ovda base in Israel amid tension with Iran

Two additional US fighter squadrons arrived at Ovda air base in Israel within the past 24 hours, amid Israeli assessments of a possible resumption of military confrontation with Iran. 📍 Where things stand: The two US squadrons have joined US air forces already present in Israel, and Israeli security officials described the deployment as a repositioning that does not by itself indicate a raised alert level for confronting Iran.
