The General Directorate of State Security carried out an inspection tour of the meat market in the Sabra area, during which it uncovered a slaughterhouse operating without a license, using a non-compliant refrigerator and selling frozen meat as fresh, and a butcher shop thawing Indian meat and mixing it with fresh meat to make sausages without disclosing this to consumers. Both the slaughterhouse and the butcher shop were sealed with red wax, and samples were taken for laboratory testing.
