1. 1 Oct 2026, 17:19 The Information Branch arrested the two shooters who fired at a young woman as she was leaving a nightclub in Achrafieh days earlier, identified as Khalil S. and Hussein H., and seized the weapon used. Beirut Appellate Public Prosecutor Judge Nibal Muhew received the preliminary investigations, charged them with attempted murder under Article 549 combined with Article 201 of the Penal Code, and referred the indictment along with the detainees to the investigating judge in Beirut, requesting their interrogation and the issuance of two arrest warrants.

According to the information, attempts at intervention and mediation to release them failed, as the Branch insisted on completing the investigation and legal procedures.
3. 2 Oct 2026, 14:15 Khalil Seblini was arrested again alongside Hussein Hadraj over a shooting in Achrafieh, after an altercation at a nightclub and the chasing of one of the young men's cars and shooting at it, which wounded a young woman. Seblini had previously been arrested in the case of running over soldier George Abu Jaoude in 2024.
