1. 4 Oct 2026, 15:55 The Ministry of Public Works and Transport, in coordination with the National Litani River Authority, began implementing a temporary solution in the Tir Falsayh area consisting of setting up a water ferry to provide an alternative crossing to the bridge destroyed by Israeli airstrikes during the last war, aimed at restoring the movement of citizens and vehicles between Sidon, Zahrani and the Tyre district, especially the transport of agricultural products and supplies, until the permanent bridge is rehabilitated.
2. 5 Oct 2026, 14:37 Al Jadeed channel reported that a temporary crossing was established in the town of Tir Falsayh in Lebanon as an alternative to a destroyed bridge.
3. 5 Oct 2026, 16:16 The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced that field works for the temporary crossing in the Tir Falsayh area began with surveying, land preparation and compaction in preparation for installing culverts, in coordination with the National Litani River Authority and the relevant parties, after the existing bridge was destroyed by Israeli airstrikes during the last war, in order to reconnect crossing movement between Sidon, Zahrani and the Tyre district.
