This story covers a series of Israeli artillery shellings and strikes targeting towns in southern Lebanon between 7 and 10 October 2026, including Kafr Tebnit, Mansouri, the outskirts of Braachit, Wadi Salouqi, Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Wadi Zibqin, along with shelling of the Mari plain and Mansouri from positions in the Tir Harfa and Bayyada hills. These developments coincided with a demolition operation carried out by the Israeli army in the town of Kounine in the Bint Jbeil district, illumination flares over Tal Nahas, and a wide sweeping operation with machine guns. No figures on damage or casualties were reported.
