Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam announced a position on the Dahieh Baidar file and the developments that followed, stressing that handling the file is subject only to the ceiling of the law, and calling for the arrest of all those involved, the removal of any weapons outside legitimacy, and the referral of those concerned to the competent judiciary. He tied the position to the principle that there is no security and no decision outside the framework of the state, in a path extending from Dahieh Baidar to Beirut.
