All appreciation to the State of Qatar, its Emir, government and people, for standing by Lebanon. Our country today needs practical steps that revive its economy and strengthen confidence in its future.

We value the sisterly State of Qatar's continued support for Lebanon, and we welcome the ongoing talks to develop the electricity sector and address the energy crisis that has burdened the Lebanese and their economy for years. We hope these talks will soon translate into clear agreements and practical, sustainable projects that contribute to improving electricity supply and easing the burden on citizens.

Full solidarity with Her Excellency Ambassador Nada Hamadeh Moawad, who is playing an important national and diplomatic role in a delicate and fateful phase that Lebanon is going through.

It is not against our people from the Shiite sect, nor against the aid they deserve.

They are our people, and their pain is our pain.

Lebanon needs one state, one legitimate weapon, and a law applied to everyone without exception.

There is no sovereignty for a state that does not monopolize weapons and does not impose its authority over the movement of money. A state within a state cannot be accepted, neither militarily nor financially.

Hezbollah's announcement of allocating large sums of money to shelter affected families raises serious questions about the sources of these funds, how they are brought into Lebanon, transferred and distributed outside official financial frameworks.

The explosives issue is no longer an isolated security incident. After the seizure of the Dahr al-Baydar shipment, the Lebanese Army's announcement that it seized about 200 additional kilograms of explosives on the Lebanese-Syrian border confirms the gravity of the security challenges facing the country. Building on the parliamentary question I submitted to the government regarding the Dahr al-Baydar explosives, I call on His Excellency the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister to initiate an urgent extraordinary Cabinet session dedicated to the security situation, in the presence of the relevant security chiefs, to take firm executive decisions to secure the borders, prevent the transfer of explosives and weapons outside state authority, pursue the parties involved and reveal who stands behind them, and hold those responsible accountable in accordance with the law. The gravity of these facts requires moving from investigations and statements to tangible security decisions and measures. The security of the Lebanese is not an ordinary administrative file, and state sovereignty tolerates no negligence or delay.

The gravity of these facts requires moving from investigations and statements to concrete security decisions and measures. The security of the Lebanese is not an ordinary administrative file, and the sovereignty of the state does not tolerate any laxity or delay.

The door to a stronger Lebanese-American partnership, strengthens ties with our expatriates, and provides new opportunities for the Lebanese economy

What multiple media reports have revealed about the seizure of large quantities of explosives in Dahr al-Baydar, amid suspicions that those arrested are linked to Hezbollah, is an extremely dangerous case that tolerates no negligence or cover-up. We demand that the government and the security and judicial agencies reveal the full truth, from the source of the explosives to their destination and the parties involved in transporting them. We will submit a formal parliamentary question to the government to follow up this case and hold those responsible accountable in accordance with the law. The security of the Lebanese is a red line, and there will be no weapons, no explosives and no security decision outside the authority of the state.

The Lebanese people deserve a sovereign state that protects their rights, returns their savings to them, and puts their future above every militia and every foreign agenda.

Lebanon must now meet this step with concrete measures: disarming Hezbollah, restricting weapons to the state alone, and implementing the long-awaited financial and institutional reforms.

I thank US President Donald Trump for lifting the restrictions imposed on air transport with Lebanon, which paves the way for operating direct flights between our two countries.

We take pride in the renaissance and achievements it and its leadership are realizing, with an ambitious vision that opens future horizons and gives Arab youth hope and confidence that tomorrow can be better. The Kingdom has a place in the hearts of the Lebanese that words cannot capture, for it stood by Lebanon and its people in the hardest circumstances and was a support for its stability, sovereignty and Arabism. We preserve this loyalty with love and gratitude, and we hold fast to a firm brotherhood that brings our two peoples together.
