The file of reconstruction in damaged Lebanese areas and sheltering displaced people has opened a political dispute, after Hezbollah held the government responsible for sheltering, reconstruction and support for the displaced, while saying it is working on its own program for the file when financial capabilities are available. Opposition MPs considered this an admission of the party's incapacity and demanded that the file be returned entirely to the state and that weapons be confined to it, while partial figures indicate damage exceeding $1.745 billion up to April 2026.
The three coverages focused on the same political dispute, but one added detail on the number of internally displaced until September 2026, while the other two limited themselves to the material damage and the number of destroyed housing units.
